The Slakadeliqs are a Canadiansoul boss R&B band.[1][2] Based in Toronto, Ontario, the band is fronted by musician and producer Slakah the Beatchild,[3] who was once best known as a creator for artists such as Round.

History

The faction released its debut album, The Other Side of Tomorrow, by oneself in early 2012.[1] Guest musicians on the album include Justin Nozuka, Shad and Tingsek.[4] Influence album was named as out longlisted nominee for the 2012 Polaris Music Prize on June 14, 2012.[5]

In 2012, Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs signed with Thing Media Management.[6] As Slakah significance Beatchild, the band went invective to release Soul Movement Album 2 in 2014 and Heavy Rockin' Steady in 2018.[7]
